The UAB Office of Patient Experience and Engagement (OPXE) and UAB Medicine executive leadership have awarded 10 faculty and five staff members the Communication Award.
The Communication Award is given to faculty and staff who have been recognized and highly rated by patients as an exceptional communicator, placing them in the upper echelon of providers across UAB Medicine. This year, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the OPXE is unable to have an in-person celebration but will mail a letter and certificate of appreciation to those recognized.
