Biography
Dr. Richard Harris, DPM, FACFAS, attended the University of Georgia, where he received his bachelor’s degree. After graduation, he attended the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. After receiving his doctorate in podiatric medicine in 2015, Harris spent three years as a Podiatry Resident at the University of Florida Health Jacksonville. After completing his residency in 2018, Harris spent three more years as at the West Virginia University School of Medicine as an Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery Attendee.
Harris is also a member of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and American Society of Forensic Podiatry. Harris joins the UAB Department of Vascular Surgery as a Clinical Assistant Professor and the VA as a Section Chief of Podiatry.
