Provides funding opportunities, effective mentorship, and regular evaluation to strengthen Partnership cancer research projects across MSM, TU, and UAB.
Overview
- Funding opportunities initially for two full and two pilot research projects.
- Additional pilot research projects in Years 4 and 5 that demonstrate capability to become full projects within the Partnership or achieve independent funding.
- Provides effective mentors for junior faculty co-leaders who receive pilot or full project funding.
- Regular evaluation of projects and mentors to ensure success of individual projects and overall CRP effectiveness.
