Where were your previous studies?
Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Spanish.
Why have you chosen to pursue a PhD?
I want to take part in the continual process of learning and discovery. I want to be in an environment surrounded by others who share this passion and strive to have an impact on society through science and academia.
What are your general research interests?
Nutrition and eating behaviors of mothers, children, and adolescents. I am also interested in investigating the effects that external factors such as socioeconomic status, access to resources, and behaviors modeled by caregivers have on the health/nutrition of children and families.
Any special interests, hobbies, or fun facts?
I enjoy spending time outdoors (i.e., hiking and nature walks), playing lacrosse, thrifting, and playing the piano.
