A specialist from the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation Services will be on campus to discuss the challenges and strengths of autism spectrum disorders in the workplace Jan. 15.
Samantha Wadsworth, ADRS Lakeshore Program Evaluation & Development Specialist, will explore common characteristics of autism, strengths that can be assets in the employment setting, potential challenge areas at work and strategies/accommodations that can be used to overcome these barriers 2-3:45 p.m. in the West Pavilion Conference Center Room E.
