Are you taking Metformin alone or metformin with a sodium-glucose transport protein 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor to treat your diabetes? The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Nutrition Sciences, is conducting a 39-week research study to see how two new study medicines work together on blood sugar levels in people with Type 2 diabetes. Qualified participants will receive study-drug free of charge and may be compensated for time and travel.
