UAB Information Technology has been alerted to an email scam, which has been directed toward many employee's email accounts. The phishing scam email has been sent with a from address of UAB HR.
IT asks that you delete this email and do not click on any links in the body of the email.
"IT has flagged this email as spam to prevent it from spreading further and has blocked the fraudulent source website," said Joe Popinski, chief information security officer.
