Champion Nutrition Study in African American Women. UAB Department of Nutrition Sciences is conducting a nutrition study looking at the effects of diet in African American women. You may qualify if you are age 19-45, overweight, have not been diagnosed with diabetes, are not pregnant and are are willing to consume a prescribed diet and travel to UAB for testing visits. Qualified participants will receive weekly groceries, personal health information, group support sessions with a Registered Dietitian, and monetary compensation for your time.
