Curriculum items approved by the UAB Board of Trustees during its June 19 meeting will be submitted to ACHE for evaluation and review. They include degrees in general studies, human resource management, genetics and genomics and psychometry.

C. Michael Wittmann, Ph.D., will be the new chair of Marketing, Industrial Distribution and Economics in the Collat School of Business, effective July 1. Wittmann comes to UAB from the University of Southern Mississippi, where he chairs its Department of Marketing and Merchandising.

UAB employees can recycle used toner and ink cartridges by dropping them in Campus Mail. UAB will manage collection and recycling efforts and use the proceeds to fund sustainability projects.
