UAB's Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery is conducting a 3 month at-home non-invasive lower leg stimulation study. You may be eligible if you are female and 18 years of age and older, have a history of chronic Bowel Leakage for at least 6 months, and have tried at least 2 treatments, including medications, diet, and pelvic exercises. Compensation will be provided. Are you taking Metformin alone or metformin with a sodium-glucose transport protein 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor to treat your diabetes? The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Nutrition Sciences, is conducting a 39-week research study to see how two new study medicines work together on blood sugar levels in people with Type 2 diabetes.
