Open enrollment for benefits is underway
UAB’s annual open enrollment for benefits will be held Oct. 20-Nov. 6. Eligible employees can choose among dental, vision and health insurance plans plus voluntary plan options and tax-deferred spending accounts for health and dependent care for 2024.

Social media loves The Bones, aka “the ribs trophy,” the 100-pound behemoth celebrating the football rivalry between UAB and the University of Memphis and the barbecue feud between their host cities. The rivalry resumes 11 a.m. Saturday at Protective Stadium.
