Abdulaziz Ahmed has been recognized by his department faculty for his recent scholarly success related to designing predictive decision support systems to combat emergency department overcrowding. Ahmed will lead a team funded through a grant from the Agency for Health Care Research and Quality (AHRQ) to address this important issue. He has been in the HSA Department since 2021 serving the Health Informatics programs. He enjoys reading history books, barbecuing, and spending time with his wife, Fatima, and their three beautiful daughters Remas, Maria, and Reham.
