Health Services Administration
Assistant Professor, Director of Operations
Years in the Department: 15
Since 2015, Celaya has been an integral part of the department’s DEI initiatives. In 2021, she led the efforts for HSA to develop its current Inclusive Excellence Model which includes
- defining the structures, processes and policies that are required for inclusive excellence to be implemented on a department and program level
- making inclusive teaching strategies tangible and approachable for educators and
- guiding educators as we develop graduates who are prepared to contribute to and lead inclusive organizations.
As graduates apply their knowledge, self-awareness, awareness of others, and practice the behaviors they have learned, they have the potential to make a sustainable impact on advancing inclusive excellence throughout the healthcare industry.
Celaya is an Assistant Professor and the Director of Operations for the Executive Doctor of Science (DSC) in Healthcare Leadership Program and has recently taken the helm of the Center for Health Care Leadership.
