Research Interests:

My research interest involves the interplay between health outcomes, nutrition, the microbiome, and genetics, with a particular emphasis on the health of women, neonates, and children.

Why did you decide to pursue a PhD?

With extensive experience in human genomics, orthopedics, and OB/GYN, pursuing a PhD is the next logical step in my career. It will provide me the opportunity to become an independent investigator as well as foster significant personal growth.

Any special interests or hobbies?

I enjoy hiking, theater, reading, jigsaw puzzles, painting, and spending time with my family. I am passionate about animals and volunteering at shelters or wildlife refuges.
