The holiday season is here and UAB Staff Council is hosting an opportunity to connect with others in the community. Staff are encouraged to write greeting cards that will be collected on December 13 and distributed at local assisted living residences.

“The holiday season is the perfect time to spread cheer throughout the Birmingham area. Staff Council is excited to partner with local assisted living communities to brighten the spirits of residents and staff members,” said Lauren Humphreys, co-chair of the community outreach committee. “Our committee is so grateful for the support and positive reaction this project has received so far.” 

Those interested in participating are encouraged to reach out to their Staff Council representative for a card to fill out. Cards will be available and collected at the final Staff Council meeting of the year.
