The Staff Development Committee creates and/or identifies existing professional development training opportunities. The Committee recommends changes or enhancements to best practices, procedures, and positions as indicated by staff feedback.

We research and create programs to address issues impacting the workforce:

• Identifying existing professional development training opportunities, or recommending changes, enhancements, or establishments of programs to provide professional development.
• Facilitating the communication of professional development training and services to University staff
• Seeking assistance and collaboration from those who possess knowledge and expertise with regard to professional development issues
• Participating in established University Committees with regard to the safety and wellness
