Interview Stream

UAB Career Center introduces Big Interview, an innovative interview practice platform for faculty, staff, and students, replacing InterviewStream. Enhance interview skills with training and practice.

Self-guided assessment to help students explore careers and majors suitable to themselves and learn more about chosen career fields. (Videos, skills, and career profiles provided.) Access by logging into BlazerNet and selecting “Classroom Career Tools.”

  • From the 2014 Freshman Cohort, 203 students used the Career Center in 2018-19, and 80.3% of those graduated by Spring 2019 (compared to the unofficial 5-year graduation rate of 54.1%).

  • From the 2015 Freshman Cohort, 410 students used the Career Center in 2018-19, and 65.6% of those graduated by Spring 2019 (compared to the unofficial 4-year graduation rate of 34.2%).
    •  
  • 120+ classroom presentation was provided by UAB Career Center staff in 2019.
