University Relations is leading an initiative to implement Facebook Business Manager as the platform for management all official UAB Facebook pages. Facebook Business 'account' Manager (BAM) will allow greater oversight of page ownership, branding, messaging and paid social marketing. Moving to the BAM system will allow UAB employees and departments to separate their personal use of Facebook from work related responsibilities. This system will allow Schools, Colleges and Administrative units to co-mange page ownership with departments and units, a provide consistent ownership of FB pages.
