Students at the Biology CafeThe Biology Café is a dedicated area of common space in the Science and Engineering Complex that provides a casual setting for both social gathering and peer mentoring for students currently enrolled in biology introductory courses (BY-123 and BY-124). Trained Learning Facilitators are on hand to help students with course material and learning strategies.  White boards are available for concept mapping, drawing diagrams, or practicing important terminology.  Movable tables and chairs facilitate learning groups of different sizes, and available snacks create an environment where students can nourish their minds and bodies. While the Biology Cafe was initially designed for introductory students, it is quickly becoming a place where biology students in upper-level courses or from biology student groups gather to study or hold events, such as Biology Trivia night.

Operating Hours: Monday – Friday, 10am – 7pm (Fall and Spring semesters)

Location: East Science Hall, 3rd Floor Lobby | Science & Engineering Complex
