The Department of Communication has funding available for academic scholarships and awards for each academic year.

  • Mary-Anne Amsbary Service Award

    Eligibility: Any Communication Studies student. Preference will be given to applicants with excellent community service.
    Amount: Variable depending on available funds and number of applicants.

  • Victoria & Ralph Johnson

    Eligibility: Any Communication Studies student. Preference will be given to first-generation students.
    Amount: Variable depending on available funds and number of applicants.

  • James E. Mills

    Eligibility: Any Journalism student. Preference will be given to applicants with the highest GPAs.
    Amount: Variable depending on available funds and number of applicants.

  • Kathryn Cramer Morgan

    Eligibility: Any Communication Studies student. Preference will be given to applicants with excellent public speaking.
    Amount: Variable depending on available funds and number of applicants.

  • Rob Rookis

    Eligibility: Any Public Relations student. Preference will be given to applicants with the highest GPAs.
    Amount: Variable depending on available funds and number of applicants.

  • Byron St. Dizier

    Eligibility: Any Mass Communication student. Preference will be given to applicants with the highest GPAs.
    Amount: Variable depending on available funds and number of applicants.

  • Trotter

    Eligibility: Any Communication Studies student. Preference will be given to applicants with the highest GPAs.
    Amount: Variable depending on available funds and number of applicants.

  • John W. Wittig

    Eligibility: Any Public Relations student. Preference will be given to applicants with the highest GPAs.
