Journey To Attorney: Pre-Law Summer Camp for High School Students
At the Scottsboro Boys Museum in Scottsboro, Alabama.
Explore unique legal landmarks around Birmingham and beyond. Re-imagine actual legal cases and participate in a mock mediation and a mock trial. Join us this summer as we ‘time travel’ in history and:
- work one-on-one with practicing attorneys, professors, and trial experts
- learn what you need to know to prepare for pre-law studies and law school
- improve your writing, reasoning, and presentation skills for college admission
- further, develop competencies in critical thinking, and writing to be understood, and improve your scholarship opportunities
- experience UAB campus life, and meet other students interested in the law
DATE: Rising high school Juniors and Seniors - July 14-20, 2024
TIME: Day time and evening activities. Please note: this camp is designed for students to participate online!
COST: Rising high school juniors and seniors - $895 + $100 non-refundable registration fee
