Symphonic Band Camp

A wonderful musical opportunity awaits you… the UAB Bands Summer Music Camp at the University of Alabama at Birmingham!

This year we are once again offering a residential camp experience alongside our non-residential option. We are incredibly excited to offer you a comprehensive week-long musical experience right here in our own Magic City. The week of fantastic music-making opportunities includes a full band experience, small ensemble participation, and training in music theory, literature, conducting, music technology, and jazz improvisation. In addition, students will have the opportunity to study privately with members of the UAB Music faculty and perform on a world-class stage. For complete information on the camp view brochure.

• Sunday June 9 - 2:00 - 5:00 p.m.
• Monday June 10 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday June 11 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday June 12 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday June 13 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Friday June 14 - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday June 15 - 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Camp Tuition

• Residential Tuition: $500.00 if registered before April 28. $550.00 after this date.
  • NO residential applications after May 12, 2024.
• Commuter Tuition: $375.00 if submitted before April 28, $425.00 after this date.
  • NO commuter applications after May 24, 2024.
