IVIS Lumina III
The IVIS Lumina III offers bioluminescence imaging as well as fluorescence imaging. We offer image analysis through Living Image, a software provided by PerkinElmer. We have two locations available to trained users, Volker Hall B21A and Wallace Tumor Institute room 630.
FMT 4000
The FMT (Fluorescence Molecular Tomography) is a preclinical tomographic 3D fluorescence imaging system, equipped with 4 excitation laser channels, with wavelengths in the NIR spectrum (635, 680, 750 and 790 nm), and is able to make acquisitions up to four fluorophores simultaneously, to mark different biological targets of interest.
Spectral Camera
The Nuance CRI Spectral Camera provides multi-spectral fluorescent microscopy between a range of 500 to 950 nm. The spectral camera is suitable for both fluorescent and brightfield forms of microscopy, which can be used to observe immunohistochemistry samples and cellular viability and processes. With the help of multispectral analysis, multiple fluorophores can be observed and used to identify cellular components with a high degree of specificity. With the use of the Nuance system’s unmixing capabilities, composite and spectrally unmixed images can be adequately compared and specified fluorescent signals can be localized in a specimen.
