Lynne Jarreau, Director of Communications for UAB School of Dentistry, has been selected by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) to serve as a member of its 2024 strategic planning committee.

Jarreau has more than 30 years of experience in strategic planning, organizational development, and local and state leadership and has served as a national trainer in capacity building. She has a broad range of public relations expertise, from media and community relations, to external communications, to internal and executive communications.

Serving on the School of Dentistry leadership team, Jarreau has contributed to the development, implementation, and assessment of the school’s strategic plan and has designed a supportive plan to advance school wide goals through strategic communications. She has also championed a variety of employee and student engagement initiatives.

“PRSA is the premier organization for communicators and advancing the communications profession,” she says. “I am excited to have the opportunity to join a team of incredibly talented and dedicated volunteers to help craft a new future-forward strategic plan.”
