Brendan Squier , D.M.D., M.D., has joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UAB as an assistant professor.
Squier attended UAB where he earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency. Following residency, he became the inaugural fellow in the temporomandibular joint and orthognathic surgery fellowship at UAB.
His clinical interests include treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, dentofacial deformities, obstructive sleep apnea, and maxillofacial trauma. His research interests include cleft jaw deformity, condylar resorption, and TMJ internal derangement.
Born and raised in Elko, Nevada and Ogden, Utah, Squier completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at Weber State University and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine training at the University of Louisville.
