Peter Evans is a seasoned professional with 26 years of managerial experience in Occupational Safety and Health and Risk Management, specializing in General Liability and Loss Prevention. Currently, he serves as the Deputy Director for Installation Safety at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, applying his extensive knowledge to enhance safety protocols.
Peter holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Alabama Birmingham and is an alumnus of the Advanced Safety Engineering and Management (ASEM) program. He is also a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), reflecting his commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
In addition to his professional roles, Peter actively contributes to the safety community by holding board positions for the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Hawaii Chapter and serving as the National ASSP Advisor for the Emerging Professionals common interest group. He is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, further demonstrating his dedication to advancing safety and engineering practices.
