Learning & Development Specialist
Laura Beth Rogers is a Learning & Development Specialist for the Learning & Development Department at UAB. Before coming to HR, she worked as a Pre-Health Advisor at UAB. Laura Beth spent five years in higher education, predominantly at midsize and large institutions.
Laura Beth has a Bachelor of Arts in English from UAB and a Master of Education in Higher Education from Auburn University.
She enjoys reading, writing, meeting new people, and trying new things. Some of Laura Beth's hobbies are interior design, enjoying classic rock, and being an avid Auburn Tigers Fan.
L&D Specialist
Kal Keiffer is a Learning & Development Specialist at UAB.
Kal is originally from Cullman, Alabama, and has lived in Rome, GA, for the past eight years. He has experience as a former youth pastor, teacher, and coach, but most recently as a leadership and personal development facilitator with Winshape Teams, where he delivered team-building and learning experiences on challenge courses and in classrooms. He brings skills in experiential learning and engaging activities and is excited to use them at UAB.
When not at work, Kal loves to be out in nature. His current active hobbies include hiking, fishing, basketball, volleyball, and pickleball. He loves all kinds of tabletop games.
