For matters of the public trust, the State of Alabama Ethics Commission determines that certain individuals should be required to file a Statement of Economic Interests Form, disclosing potential conflicts of interest. The Commission has an annual filing requirement for those required to file. Individuals who are required to file a Statement of Economic Interests Form will receive an email from the CHRO or a letter to their home address ahead of the filing deadline.
