A Quality Enhancement Plan Advisory Council (QEPAC) is organized to provide cross-campus feedback on the development and progress of the QEP. The council has representation from UAB academic, student government, faculty senate and administrative units.

The QEPAC has been actively engaged in UAB’s 2025-2030 The City Is Our Classroom since 2022. During the topic development phase, UAB’s Blazer Core Curriculum committee also served as the QEP Advisory Council due to its broad campus representation and specific interest in curricular development, student learning outcomes and student success, and assessment. In 2024, after the topic was selected, new membership of QEPAC was established and given the charge to develop and write the QEP document. The current members of the QEPAC are listed below. The QEPAC will continue to be engaged throughout implementation and assessment of The City Is Our Classroom.
