How to Spot a Phish
Phishing emails often encourage you to visit a form and enter your credentials. Here are some common characteristics of phishing emails:

What to Do If You Receive a Suspicious Email

The simplest way to report it to UAB Information Security is by clicking the "Report Phish" button in Outlook. You can also forward the potential phish to phishing@uab.edu. They'll take a look at it and report back to you, letting you know if it's safe or malicious.
