• Educational Events: ACTOC has created various gatherings to give care teams opportunities to learn from one another. These include the High Performing Care Collaborative and Lead Infinitely Workshop (series created with the UAB Leadership Development Office). An internal Lunch & Learn Series and Anesthesia Scholarly Connections (after-hours quarterly journal club) provide research-driven education in more casual settings. Click here to learn more. 
• Publications and Podcasts: Members of ACTOC not only collaborate within the clinical setting, but also on peer-reviewed articles for well-respected publications and national podcasts. Click here to learn more. 
• Preoperative Communication Tool: A standardized checklist was designed and implemented for the operating room, identifying what must be discussed preoperatively, intraoperatively, and early postoperatively by members of the care team.
