We are glad you are here and hope that the steps outlined on this site help you navigate your first weeks at UAB. As the largest employer in the state of Alabama, the hire process at UAB is complex. You should have your letter of offer in hand at this stage. You will have completed or will be completing your I-9 form, if applicable. It is important to know that you will not have complete access to UAB systems or buildings on your first day, so it will be important for you to coordinate with your supervisor during this time. For further guidance throughout this process please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page.
