UAB’s Department of Family and Community Medicine has announced 45 Primary Care Medical Student Scholarship Support Fund scholarships totaling $1.2 million for the 2023-2024 academic year. These scholarships, valued at $20,000 and $40,000 each, are available to MS2-MS4 students interested in family medicine and primary care, with an additional 45 scholarships available for 2024-2025. Primary care fields include family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, and med-peds.

Students submit just one application to be considered for scholarships on BSMART covering both years.

The application deadline is April 29, 2024.
