The UAB Department of Family and Community Medicine is proud to offer full-spectrum family medicine residency training through the Cahaba-UAB Family Medicine Residency Program, which is a 20-20-20 program offering 4 tracks (Urban Underserved, Rural, Frontier and Highlands).
This program aims to develop physicians who care for rural underserved, urban underserved, and other vulnerable populations, while also developing future leaders and scholars in family and community medicine. To achieve these goals, we are committed to innovation and excellence in clinical and educational design.
