We invite you to learn more about and participate in a survey to help improve cancer care for colorectal, esophageal, and pancreatic cancer survivors in Alabama and Mississippi.
This project was created and is being led by a research team at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), that has received funding to help develop a comprehensive plan for enhancing the quality of cancer care in both states.
The results of this survey will offer valuable insights into the current state of cancer care in Alabama and Mississippi. We recognize the challenges patients, healthcare providers, and cancer centers face in delivering quality care and have a goal to help provide a plan that will support the improvement of care. We need YOUR help!
We believe every cancer survivor deserves the best care regardless of location, race, income, employment, education, or support system. If you are a cancer care provider, support group, or organization who would like information to share, please email the ASCENDS team at ASCENDS@uabmc.edu.

You will be asked questions about your experience from diagnosis to cancer treatment. Tell us what went well and what could be done better.
If you had surgery, there would also be questions about the preparation, procedure, and recovery.
