Bio

Dr. Yasaman Alam graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in physiology and neuroscience. During undergrad, she began shadowing a neurosurgeon and developed a strong passion for the profession. After graduating from UCSD, Dr. Alam attended The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Throughout medical school, she remained actively involved in clinical research with the Department of Neurosurgery. In her free time, Dr. Alam likes to run, hike, play piano and hang out with friends and family.
