About Me: Elizabeth attended Auburn University for undergrad and stayed there for medical school at VCOM-Auburn. She went to Jackson, MS for pediatrics residency at Children’s of MS and is now back in AL! She’ll be pursuing CF research while in fellowship. War Eagle!!!
Allyson Brown, M.D.
Residency: Medical University of South Carolina
About Me: Allyson Brown, MD, FAAP attended medical school at University of Central Florida College of Medicine in Orlando, FL, during which she published several poems and short stories exploring the challenges of medical training and practice. She completed her pediatric residency at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC where she was drawn to pulmonology through caring for patients with complex medical needs. Her career and research interests including muscular dystrophies/neuromuscular respiratory insufficiency, chronic respiratory failure/ventilator dependence and interventional bronchoscopy. Despite over a decade living in the South, Dr. Brown is a Pacific Northwesterner at heart, having grown up just south of Portland, OR. She enjoys hunting for agates on the Oregon Coast, cheering on her alma mater, the University of Southern California Trojans, in football, and reading just about any and every book she can get her hands on. She is looking forward to the next stage of her career as she completes her final year of training this year.
