UAB’s First Year Class Photo takes place each year on the Sunday preceding the first week of classes. Freshmen and new transfer students assemble in UAB’s Legacy Pavilion to receive class t-shirts and pose for a photo memorializing their first days as a UAB Blazer. Immediately following the class photo, students form a procession to UAB's annual ConnectFEST for fun, food, and fellowship on the Campus Green. This event marks a beautiful campus tradition and is one of the few times the entire class will gather before graduation.
