The SUCCESS Executive Steering Committee (ESC) under the leadership of Provost & Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Student Affairs serves as a liaison to the president and provide oversight and direction for key decision-making by Working Groups. Additionally, the SUCCESS ESC will address challenges and opportunities that may arise during the implementation process.
The SUCCESS ESC is supported by seven Working Groups, Dean’s Council, and the Project Director.
Working Groups consist of stakeholders from cross functional units with a vested interest and expertise in enrollment and students’ success areas. Each Working Group is led by Co-Chairs and includes members-at-large Working groups that will have agency to create sub-groups as needed to ensure the effective development and implementation of charges for the opportunity areas that are larger in scope. The goal of these working groups will be to develop action plans that collaboratively address student success and enrollment growth recommendations.
The SUCCESS ESC is also supported by the Dean’s Council, who will serve in an advisory capacity to the ESC and work on action plans to accomplish identified goals and implement the strategic priorities.
The Project Owner, the Senior Vice Provost of Enrollment and Student Success, will be responsible for collaborating with the Project Director, Executive Sponsors, and Working Groups in overall project planning, implementation, and monitoring of progress toward successful implementation.
The Project Director of Strategic Initiatives will collaborate with the Executive Sponsors (Provost & Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Student Affairs) and Project Owner (Senior Vice Provost-Enrollment and Student Success) to support the SUCCESS initiative.
