Where to Park
Employees working at off-site clinics (Avondale, Gardendale, Hoover, etc.) should park at their worksite. Pharmacists and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists should contact UAB Transportation for their parking assignment. All other UAB Hospital, Callahan, and Kirklin Clinic staff should apply for parking by completing the online application. See the table below for more information about your parking assignment.

Blazer Express does not run on weekends. See the “On Call” section below for additional parking access.
If you do not have a ONE Card, please park in Express Lot #4 (410 10th Ave S) and ride the Blazer Express North Pavilion Route bus back to the medical district. Your manager will assist you in obtaining your ONE Card, at which time you should park in the location corresponding to the chart above. Real-time information on Blazer Express routes, stops, and location of buses may be found in the Double Map app (download from the Apple Store and Google Play).

WAITLISTS:
Once you have a Blazer ID, you may add your name to a wait list by contacting UAB Transportation.
On-Call Access:
Request on-call access to the 6th Avenue Deck or University Boulevard Deck. To add this access, please have your director email our office with a statement of need along with the preferred on-call access location. Once received, the access can be added for one-time annual fee of $30.00 for those with a valid permit. On-call access hours for each deck are as follows: .
- 6 th Avenue Deck access is available from 5 p.m.–5 a.m. weekdays, and 24-hours on weekends.
- University Boulevard Deck access is available for entry from 5 p.m.–4 a.m. (must exit deck by 8 a.m.) weekdays, and 24-hours on weekends.
Please note, the on-call access must be renewed annually.
RESIDENTS/FELLOWS:
Residents in the Graduate Medical Education (GME) program should contact the GME office directly to arrange parking.
Residents not coordinated through the GME office are considered regular employees and their parking assignment is coordinated within guidelines in the table above.
