DMD/MBA
Students interested in pursuing the DMD/MBA dual degree must complete an application opens a new websitethrough the UAB Graduate School. This application is in addition to that completed through AADSAS. The deadline for application for summer admission to the dual degree program is May 1.
Required Documents
You will need the following to complete your application:
- Resume
- Statement of purpose
- Three references1
- Test Scores (DAT scores can be accepted in lieu of GMAT)
- Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended2
1 Students may use the same references as used for AADSAS application.
2 Copies of transcripts submitted through AADSAS are sufficient for application review.

MD/MBA
Students interested in pursuing the MD/MBA dual degree must complete an application opens a new websitethrough the UAB Graduate School. This application is in addition to that completed through AMCAS. The deadline for application for summer admission will follow the graduate school’s deadline of May 1.

- Statement of purpose
- Three references1
- Test scores (DAT scores can be accepted in lieu of GMAT)
- Transcripts from all colleges and universities attended2
1 Students may use the same references as used for AMCAS application.

Students will meet with Collat School of Business faculty during their medical school interviews.

MEng/MBA
Students who wish to pursue the MEng/MBA dual degree must apply and be admitted to the MEng and MBA programs separately.
MEng Admission by Concentration

MBA Admission for Dual Degree
- Acceptance to UAB’s MEng program.
- Completed application opens a new website(Includes current resume, 500-word statement of purpose, and three professional references.)
- GMAT test score requirement for the MBA program is waived with admission to the MEng program.

MPH/MBA
Students who wish to pursue coordinated MPH/MBA dual degree must apply and be admitted to the MPH program and the MBA program independently. In this dual degree program, students can apply 2 courses from the MPH program toward the MBA program as electives, leaving MPH/MBA students with 10 courses to take in the MBA program. Evening and online courses are offered by both the MPH and MBA program.

MSHA/MBA
Students who wish to pursue coordinated MSHA-MBA dual degree must apply and be admitted to the MSHA program and the MBA program independently. The MSHA program is a full-time day program. Applications are accepted to the MSHA program once a year, with a December 1st deadline. Applications to the MBA program are accepted three times a year.

Acceptance
Acceptance to the program is based on a composite of the applicant's scholastic record, standardized test scores, references, and a personal interview. Health-related work experiences and studies are also taken into consideration.
