A Junior at UAB majoring in Public Health with a double minor of Psychology and Forensic Science. I want to make a better impact on lower-income communities to better individual’s health and lack of benefits they may have. I want to further my understanding of the functioning of the brain of individuals with disabilities to better access their health based on their situation. I hope to seek my master’s in nursing after I have successfully made an impact on the community outside of the hospital, so I could make an even better impact within hospital facilities by actually accessing the patients.

I have always wanted to be part of an organization to make changes and/or improvements for the future of younger generations to come. While I serve in the Military, it is my responsibility to care for my fellow people. In my eyes it is not just about the inequality of race, but it is also about inequity of different incomes. I have witnessed racial discrimination that led to human rights not being upheld legally and resulted in failure to protect individuals and their rights despite their race or social classification. I hope to ensure improvement of both equality and equity to all race, age groups, and any disabled.

Outside of school I love worshiping, spending quality time with my family, journaling, exploring nature, listening to music, watching the investigation channel, and learning about new things that expands my knowledge.
