Alabama Interfaith Refugee Partnership (ALIRP)

Margaret Waldie is a junior at UAB double majoring Political Science and Anthropology, with a minor in Spanish. She is a part of the Global Community & Leadership program in the Honors College. Her main interest is immigration reform, and hopes to become an international human rights lawyer. She believes that remembering the past and reforming the current laws are integral to prevent further splintering within the country and aid in bettering the world for future generations.
