Claire Greenstein, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Her research focuses on how governments and societies address matters of justice, reconciliation, and human rights in the wake of dictatorships and domestic armed conflicts. She earned her PhD in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December 2018, and from 2018-2020 she was a postdoctoral researcher in the Center for European and Transatlantic Studies, a Jean Monnet Center of Excellence, in the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
