John is a graduate student pursuing his Masters in Anthropology of Peace and Human Rights at UAB.  Originally from Stone Mountain Georgia, John graduated with his Bachelors in Anthropology at the University of West Georgia. In 2018, he began to intern with New South Associates, an archeological firm to gain experience as a lab and field technician. John is passionate about helping others and aspires to become a diplomat or an ambassador so that he can help advocate and empower others. In his free time, John loves to play the guitar and write songs about his experiences throughout life so that other people can understand that they are not alone in their experiences.
