Get to know Savannah Clinkscales.

Savannah Clinkscales is a graduate from Troy University with a bachelor’s in Spanish and English and a concentration in TESOL. After graduating, she lived in Spain as a teaching assistant to engage with the language and culture first hand. Then, she earned her master’s degree in Spanish Linguistics from the University of Alabama. Currently, she teaches introductory and intermediate Spanish courses at UAB. She strives to create an interactive classroom where students feel comfortable and challenged to grow in their language skills. Her research interests include bilingualism, language maintenance, and second language acquisition.
