Support for First-generation faculty and staff is important at UAB.  First-generation faculty and staff provide social and academic support to first-generation students at UAB.  This organization supports the professional development of faculty and staff, as well as provides mentoring opportunities for first-generation students at UAB.

Membership is open to staff and faculty who identify as a first-generation college student and commit to fostering a community of inclusive support, share professional development opportunities and commit to the advancement of first-generation students at UAB.
