The 1917 Clinic Prevention Education and Community Engagement (PEaCE) Team is committed to educating the community about HIV disease including healthy decision making, understanding current trends, and decreasing HIV-related stigma. We encourage all individuals to know their HIV status, practice behaviors to reduce the risk of acquiring HIV, or if living with HIV, of acquiring other sexually transmitted infections or passing on HIV to someone else.
We strive to build partnerships with youth, young adults, the faith community, and the community at large.
If you would like to schedule a workshop and/or testing event for your organization, please contact us!
