The 1917 Research Committee is tasked with the efficient evaluation and approval of proposed research involving the 1917 clinic patient population.

The Committee aims to align research projects within the clinic in a way that reflects the priorities of our patients while providing an environment conducive to impactful science. The committee incorporates diverse representation of 1917 interests including Investigators, CFAR, RISC, Clinical Staff, Pharmacy and Patient Advocates.

All research initiatives that involve the patient population at the 1917 Clinic are expected to participate in the 1917 Research Committee review process. This platform is designed to offer practical feedback to investigators and their teams, while ensuring research activities align closely with clinical operations and patient interests.
