Mini-symposia:
Periodically (approximately 2-3 times per year) a mini-symposium is coordinated by a faculty member that serves to address a single topic in depth, including surgical approaches, functional neurosurgery and spine instrumentation. These programs are characteristically multidisciplinary, and incorporate a variety of different learning strategies including dissection labs, computer simulations, and multi-media presentations. Topics have recently included anterior skull base anatomy, endoscopic surgical approaches, functional neurosurgery and spine instrumentation.
